I bought this Seat Cushion for my desk chair and it has made long sitting sessions much more comfortable. The high-resilience urethane core is genuinely firm, so it supports without flattening out, and the polyester-spandex cover has a soft brushed feel. I also use it on the floor when reading. The muted color blends nicely with my room. It is firm rather than plush, so keep that in mind if you prefer something softer.
