I bought this Takomai Japanese Rice to try for homemade sushi and onigiri, and it worked really well. The grains cook up fluffy with a gentle sweetness, and they hold together nicely when shaping onigiri. The description mentions it comes from a rural area of Tako Town with clean water and mineral-rich soil along the Kuriyana River, which is a nice detail. It is a bit pricier than my usual rice, but for sushi nights it is worth it. I would buy it again.
